Salary details: FTE Salary Min – £22,368 to Max – £24,491
Post 1 – 20 hours per week
Post 2 – 17.5 hours per week
Hours of Work: Part time:
Post 1 – 5 mornings a week: 9.00-1.00pm (including lunch duty)
Post 2 – 5 mornings a week : 9.00-12.30pm (including part lunch duty)
Location of Role: Highfield Church of England Primary School – Highfield is a split site Primary with a half a mile between sites and this role could be at either site.

Do you want to work in a happy and friendly school where helping children to thrive is central to the work of the school? If so, come and join our team as a Teaching Assistant! We are looking for two people to join our team in our friendly, supportive and successful school.
Post 1: 5 mornings a week 9.00 – 1.00 pm (including lunch duty) as a Learning support assistant supporting pupils across different classes for core literacy and numeracy learning.
Post 2: 5 mornings a week working with a 1-1 child in the junior department who has specific learning needs. Hours for this post are 9.00 – 12.30 pm (including part lunch duty).
The ideal candidates will have the ability to build good working relationships, be organised, enjoy working with children and “making a difference.”
Good literacy and numeracy skills will also be essential in order to confidently support pupils in their learning when clarifying and explaining learning. Being sensitive to different needs and personalities, demonstrating empathy and warmth and being aware of the emotional needs of children would be highly beneficial.
