We are looking for someone to join our friendly, supportive and successful school. You will be working between different classes supporting pupils on a 1-1 basis for specific learning needs.
Hours of work will be 23 per week, with the following work pattern:
Monday and Wednesday – hours 9:00 – 12:30 and 13:00 – 15:00
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – hours 9:00 – 13:00.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to build good working relationships, be organised, enjoy working with children and “making a difference.”
Good literacy and numeracy skills will also be essential in order to confidently support pupils in their learning when clarifying and explaining learning. Being sensitive to different needs and personalities, demonstrating empathy and warmth and being aware of the emotional needs of children would be highly beneficial.
