FTE Salary Min –£22,737– pro rata – actual salary £2,641.22
FTE Salary Max – £23,114 – pro rata – actual salary £2,685.02
Hours - 5 hours per week – 12 noon until 1.00pm

We seek to appoint a reliable, caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working school team/s. We can offer the opportunity to work with well-mannered and polite children in our wonderful school.
The successful applicant will need to:
- enjoy working as part of a team within a school environment
- communicate well with both children and adults
- be willing to be flexible and adaptable to change
- be reliable and consistent in promoting good behaviour
Duties will include:
- supervision of children eating a hot school meal or a packed lunch
- supervision of children in the playground or classroom
- promoting lunchtime play by organising and playing games with the children
- ensuring the safety and welfare of children at all times
- To provide welfare support to the pupils of the school, including undertaking first aid duties and attend any training necessary.
Please note: the school is on two separate sites (half a mile apart) and there might be a requirement for you to work at either site from time to time.
Experience would be an advantage, but training and support will be provided for the right person.

Highfield Primary School is a split site Primary with half a mile between sites and staff can be requested to work at either site or move in between. This post is based at the Junior Site. The infant site is situated at Church Lane, Highfield, Southampton, SO17 1SY
