Volcanic Eruptions!

This half-term, the children have been looking at how volcanoes and earthquakes are formed. In all three classes, we had a try at creating a volcano eruption ourselves. It really highlighted the differences in eruptions: some can be fast explosions and some can be slow and steady, as we found out!
