Happy Chinese New Year!

This term, we have been lucky enough to have had taster sessions in Mandarin, delivered by a member of the Confucius Department at the University of Southampton. Every Monday, we've been learning how to speak some simple words in the language, and this week on Thurday, we had an extra session in the run up to Chinese New Year, which is being celebrated this weekedn (it's the year of the dragon!) We had a lot of fun learning about the Chinese Zodiac, drawing Chinese characters using calligraphy brushes and more. Thank you to everyone involved in launching this partnership!
