Dr Chapman visits
A big thank you to Dr Chapman and his fellow scientist Anastasia who came in to talk to year 3 and 4 today.
Along with the University of Southampton, Dr Chapman has asked for our help in collecting data for his research. In a warming world, where our food travels long distances, Dr Chapman wonders whether legumes will grow well across the country, how fast they'll germinate, how long until they produce flowers and if they will produce beans/ pods. This would be a good local source of protein for humans of the future.
We look forward to growing some plants for him and providing him with our data that the pupils will collect.
