Hanukkah

In RE this half term the concept the children have been learning about is 'symbols'. They have looked at lots of different examples of symbols and why they are used. They then focused on the Jewish symbol of the 'Menorah' and how it symbolises Hanukkah. The children learnt the story of Hanukkah and then lit the 8 candles on the menorah!
