Cartography Crazy!

Year 1/2 have been reading maps to locate Mumbai and Southampton in the world!

This term in geography, year 1/2 are comparing the cities of Southampton and Mumbai. For their first lesson, they were given a variety of maps to explore and find information about the location of both cities. We were so impressed with how reciprocal the children were when working together to understand the information the maps were telling them!
