Spring Concert

Led by Mrs Caveney with the help of Mr Hanchett, Mrs Wood and Miss Hill, our school orchestra and Young Voices choir entertained the audience for an hour and a half with a mix of classical pieces, film music, jazzy numbers and more, and we were incredibly proud of every single performer. We’d especially like to say a big well done to all our Year 6 soloists and small ensemble players - getting up in front of a packed church to play takes a lot of courage, and you were all amazing. It was also lovely to have some of our Highfield alumni - now studying at A Level! - return to join our orchestra for the final few pieces. It was wonderful to see how the musical seed that was planted during their time in primary school is still blossoming all these years later!
