Dance Live 2024: A Spectacular Success!
We are thrilled to share the fantastic news about our school’s participation in this year’s Dance Live competition! The event was an incredible experience, filled with passion, creativity, and extraordinary performances. Our talented children showcased their dedication and hard work, bringing an electrifying energy to the stage. The competition was fierce, but our team shone brightly, securing a well-deserved victory.
Not only did our children put on an outstanding show, but we were also delighted to receive a congratulatory email from a member of the SCC Education Team. They praised our fabulous performance and specifically highlighted the impressive number of boys participating in our group, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and diversity in the arts.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the staff and parents who supported and encouraged the children every step of the way. Special appreciation goes to Mrs James, who flawlessly project-managed the event, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish. She also played a crucial role in designing and creating the majority of our award-winning costumes – a truly remarkable effort!
We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to Vanessa and Ellie for their exceptional choreography and tireless efforts in perfecting every move. The routine was nothing short of stunning, capturing the audience’s attention from start to finish! A huge thank you also goes to Mrs Caveney and Mr Rawlins, whose dedication and supervision made this event possible.
Finally, to our incredible parents – we cannot thank you enough! Your invaluable support, from creating costumes and sets to handling hair and makeup, was instrumental in bringing our vision to life. Your presence at the performance and your cheers from the audience meant the world to the children.
The children’s enthusiasm, teamwork, and passion played a huge role in this well-deserved win, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievement. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event such a tremendous success – we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the final!
