Where Once We Stood

In Literacy this week, Year 5/6 started a new book: Where Once We Stood by Christopher Riley and Martin Impey. As well as containing fascinating stories about each of the Apollo missions to land on the moon, the book is also full of beautifully haunting artwork. To get us in the mood for reading all about the lunar missions, we had a go at copying some of the pictures using charcoal. It was a bit messy, but we were all really proud of the results!
