Outdoor Maths!

At the moment, Year 5 are learning about position and direction in Maths lessons, which means lots of grids and coordinates! This week, groups of children took it in turns to go outside with Mr Lewis and use the grid painted on the playground to play some coordinates games. Although the grids there don't have coordinates on, we were easily able to add our own with chalk. It was fun being able to do something a bit different to help us remember how to read and write positions on a grid!
