We have been busy bees this week.
In phonics we have been learning the ‘y’ and ‘w’ sounds. Children were very good at thinking of words. We also practised writing these letters to make sure we formed them correctly. Good work everyone.
This week we have carried out lots of activities but here are just a few. We thought about different ways we could sort shapes, took in in turns to play a group game (reciprocal racoons), built towers as big as each other, discovered if objects would float or sink, felt different materials, and made sure some teeth were clean!
In P.E children played a class game, and were practising their spatial awareness. They listened to the instructions, and were very honest if they had been ‘caught’. Great job!
Willow were so wonderful this week, and I am SUPER proud of such an amazing first week back.
I look forward to seeing you all next week on Tuesday! Have a lovely weekend!
