Over the past week in school, we have been practising our Christmas performance, which we showed to the parents on the 8th December. The story starts in Austria, in a city called Orbendorf where Franz Gruber and Father Joseph are troubled by a hole in an organ bellow caused by a mouse (or maybe two)! The whole Junior Department has been involved in some way, and it has all been organised by Mrs. Caveney.
In the performance, Asia class were the villagers so the boys had to dress up as in a shorts or trousers with braces, whereas the girls had to wear a long skirt. One the songs we sang as a class was Guten Morgen, which was about getting ready for Christmas.
We have had a great time acting, dancing and singing along to lots of songs. We hope you had a lovely time watching our performance!
