In English this week, students in South America have been focusing on balanced arguments, which we have linked to our topic of Ancient Greeks. We have been exploring the myth of ‘Theseus and the Minotaur’ and discussing whether Theseus was a hero or was he actually a villain of the story.
During maths, pupils in our class have been learning how to use long division, which is one of the hardest methods, and the diameter, radius, circumference and area of circles. We also have been practising mental maths.
Throughout the term, South America have been taught about the human body and keeping healthy. For example, everybody has learnt about the heart, the lungs and blood.
