The exhibits for the Great British Art Gallery are well under way! Yr3/4 have explored sculpture in different forms, conducted their own research, and designed their very own! Our story focus: ‘When Jessie Came Across The Sea’ inspired the children’s designs. As Jessie reached New York City, the astounding vision of The Statue of Liberty took her breath away. When the children planned their learning for this half term, they wanted to capitalise on this momentary joy for Jessie. Therefore, each child has designed and made their sculpture linked to the British Values to share with our Junior Departments and parents during the Great British Art Gallery on Wednesday 14th October (3-3.25pm).
