They were set a challenge: “Can you re-create the rivers in our county of Hampshire?”
Children learnt to ‘Research to find information’, ‘Convert length using a conversion’ and ‘Use a scale to measure length accurately’. They were the Reciprocal Racoon to collaborate in teams. Using iPads to research river lengths, then applying their Maths learning to convert and measure length, and create the rivers out of string, the teams produced some superb learning! Well done Europe!
