Spring 1 What we have been up to

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

It has been a very busy term. Here are some highlights.

Animals visit Year R!

It was reported that the animals from Marwell Zoo escaped and visited Willow and Oak. We think it is because they wanted to do some learning. The children were great at making some posters for any missing animals. We also read the book ‘Dear Zoo’. Children made their own pages to go in the story.

Super science!

Children had a science afternoon where they made their own sherbet and slime. We learnt about Jane Goodall and the amazing work she did with chimpanzees.

Supertato to the rescue

Today Supertato visited year R. Vegetables were trapped under baskets and the evil pea went missing. Luckily, Year R were on hand to make their own wanted posters and Supertatoes to save the day.

We have been trying to put finger spaces into our sentences and add by counting on this week. Well done for an amazing half term. Well done year R

.
