What an exciting time we have been having in Oak Base! We had a fantastic trip to the farm, we held chicks, fed baby goats and even got to ride on a very bumpy tractor! It was so much fun and the farm has been featuring in our learning!
In maths we have been working really hard on our number recognition, helping the farmer count his animals into the field and order the animals by their numbers! It’s been super to make sure that we are really confident with our numbers and it would be great if this is something that is worked on at home.
We have been reading Farmer Duck this week and thinking about how the duck feels throughout the story. We have also been joining in with the story and reading it altogether as a whole class. We did some super writing about the story using our sounds to help us and also remembering to use full stops, capital letters and finger spaces in our work!
Phew! It has been such a busy time in Oak Base!
